At millions of sessions a year, protecting conversion efficiency is itself a win, because scaling traffic usually dilutes it. Our work was to hold that number and then push revenue per visit upward through the compounding, quiet moves a storefront rewards.

It is six in the morning on a Saturday, and someone is planning a weekend build. A skid plate, a set of tie downs, a cargo box that fits a specific model year of Ranger. The tab opens on a phone. The person taps into a category page, then into a product page, then into a filter, then back out. What happens in the next forty seconds decides whether that visit turns into a cart or into a tab that gets closed at the second coffee. At millions of sessions a year, the storefront has to answer that question the same way every time.

A large, deep catalog that had to feel simple
UTV Source runs a single channel, direct to consumer store on BigCommerce, with a deep parts and accessories catalog and a high average order value. At that size, the CRO problem is not finding demand. It is holding conversion efficiency as traffic climbs, and moving revenue per visit upward without adding a channel, because scaling traffic often dilutes exactly the number a merchant is trying to protect.
Parts fitment and accessory discovery are complex, and mobile is where most of the browsing happens, so the store has to make the right SKU feel obvious in a thumb tap. Higher value carts follow from small merchandising decisions made in the right places, not from one dramatic homepage change. Because this is one storefront rather than a portfolio of channels, the discipline is compounding: keep testing, keep tightening, keep protecting conversion efficiency while traffic grows and while the catalog deepens. That is the shape the program had to hold, month after month.

The storefront run as a conversion system
We treated the BigCommerce storefront as a conversion system and refined it continually, then measured the result in engagement, conversion efficiency, and revenue per visit.
Continual design and development on BigCommerce. Cleaner navigation, faster and clearer pages, and a more confident path to purchase, month over month. Product discovery and merchandising were sharpened for a deep, fitment driven catalog, so the right accessory surfaces before the shopper has to name it. Continual CRO instead of a one time project, because at this scale the point is compounding. The engagement numbers moved: engagement rate rose from 64 percent to 75 percent, engaged sessions grew about a third, and visitors stayed longer. A stronger onsite experience also makes paid investment more efficient, because ad quality and landing page experience are directly linked, so against an industry trend of rising ad costs UTV Source scaled ads meaningfully with improving efficiency. We advise on paid in this engagement but do not run it, so we frame that as a downstream effect of the experience work rather than a paid media result we claim.

In ninety days the click to open rate climbed, engagement moved from 39.4 percent to 50.7 percent, revenue rose 78 percent, and sessions fell 32 percent. A better audience, not a bigger one.
