UTV Source already had the demand and the catalog. Our job was the experience: make the store faster, clearer, and easier to buy from, so a high volume of visits turns into more engaged sessions and more revenue per visit. Year over year, it did, without us touching a new channel.
UTV Source already had the demand and the catalog. Our job was the experience: make the store faster, clearer, and easier to buy from, so a high volume of visits turns into more engaged sessions and more revenue per visit. Year over year, it did, without us touching a new channel.

The Challenge
UTV Source operates at real scale: millions of sessions a year, a deep parts and accessories catalog, and a high average order value. At that size, the challenge is not finding demand. It is making a large, complex store easy, fast, and persuasive enough that every visit works a little harder.
A large catalog that has to feel simple. Parts fitment and accessory discovery are complex. The experience needs to make finding the right part fast and confident, especially on mobile. Conversion efficiency that must hold as traffic grows. At millions of sessions, even holding the conversion rate steady while traffic climbs is a real win, because scaling traffic often dilutes it. Higher value carts to encourage. With a high average order value, small improvements to merchandising and the path to checkout move meaningful revenue. A single channel to optimize relentlessly. This is one direct to consumer store, so the discipline is continual, compounding refinement of that one experience. The brief: keep refining the BigCommerce storefront so a large, high value audience engages more deeply and converts more revenue per visit, year over year.

The System
We treated the storefront as a conversion system and improved it continually, then measured the result in engagement, conversion efficiency, and revenue.
Continual design and development on BigCommerce. Cleaner navigation, faster and clearer pages, and a more confident path to purchase. This is the foundation everything else builds on. Product discovery and merchandising for a deep catalog. We sharpened how a large, fitment driven catalog is browsed and merchandised. The payoff shows up in engagement and in a higher average order value. Continual CRO, not a one time project. We kept testing and refining month over month. The point at this scale is compounding: protect conversion efficiency as traffic grows, then nudge value per visit upward. On site experience as the growth lever. Engagement rate rose from 64% to 75%, engaged sessions grew about a third, and visitors stayed longer. A store that holds attention is a store that converts and carries higher value carts. A note on a related benefit: a stronger on site experience also makes paid investment more efficient, because ad quality and landing page experience are directly linked. Against an industry trend of rising ad costs, a better landing experience is what lets a store scale paid spend while holding or improving efficiency. Over this period UTV Source scaled ads meaningfully with improving efficiency, and the on site experience work is part of why. We advise on paid but do not run it in this engagement, so we frame this as a downstream effect of the experience work, not as a paid media result we claim.
